Spring Day  in "Zaliakalnio"

"Spring Day in Europe"  is intended to promote knowledge about the European Union with the aim of establishing a dialogue between pupils, teachers and players in the European Union about their vision of Europe and its future. “Spring Day in Europe" is a marvellous opportunity for young people to share their experiences. This year, the pupils of “Zaliakalnio” High School launched a Spring Day with the aim  of investigating their culture from the perspective of young Europeans.

We all can identify London by the Red Buses, Madrid by Puerta del Sol, and Berlin by Cafes in Kreuzberg. They are parts of the soul of their cities. So the team of the EURR decided to ask the pupils of “Zaliakalnio” to find the soul of Klaipeda. The task was to reveal some items by which it would be easy recognize Klaipeda immediately. So high school pupils did their best to bring a part of their soul to the art exhibition and show how beautiful Klaipeda is, and we invite everybody to a final trip to the heart of Klaipeda. Join City Soul Art Contest!

CAMPAIGN for Reconciling Work and Family Life

Spring Day in Europe is a marvellous project, which developed fantastically over the years. The Spring Day Festival 2014 was held in Zaliakalnio on May 12, 2014. The young people, aged between 16 and 18 years, who had come to the festival with their their teachers, expressed the importance of family in drawings, photos and short videos. Pupils from all the classes became involved in the project: they prepared pictures, posters, family photos. The exhibition was made of them. Pupils could do the quiz in teams and then go through the answers with the teacher using the Power Point Presentation. They reviewed the countries in the continent of Europe and identified those that are the part of the European Union.
